New York Life Insurance Co. said William G. Walter has joined its board of directors.
Mr. Walter, 63, will sit on the board's insurance and operations committee, New York Life said last week. He is the chairman, president, and chief executive officer of FMC Corp., a Philadelphia manufacturer of agricultural, specialty, and industrial chemicals.
He has worked for FMC since 1974 and has been chairman, president, and CEO since 2001.
