News Brief: DBA Names Attorney General Consultant, Public Affairs Firm

DBA International, the association representing the debt-buying industry, has announced the addition of Helen Mac Murray as its attorney general consultant and Perry Communications Group Inc. (PCG) as its new public affairs agency.  

A founding member of the law firm Mac Murray, Petersen & Shuster LLP, Mac Murray is a government relations and litigation expert who will work with DBA International to educate state attorneys general and their staff on issues of concern to the association and its members.

Before joining MPS, Mac Murray served as chief of the Ohio Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Section. During her tenure, the section was named the "National Consumer Protection Agency of the Year."

DBA International also has retained PCG, a full-service strategic communications firm. Under Kassy Perry’s leadership, PCG will develop strategic communications, public affairs and media relations strategies for DBA International and its members.

PCG has extensive experience working with trade associations managing complicated issues affecting the public, regulators and lawmakers
