Northern Trust Names Dallas President

Northern Trust Corp. announced that it has promoted Patrick Everett to Dallas regional president.

Everett will oversee the Chicago banking company's North Texas wealth management operations, which provide investment management, fiduciary services and banking solutions to individuals and institutions. He reports to Steve MacLellan, Northern Trust's Southwest regional president.

Everett was chief investment officer for Northern Trust's Western region including California, Washington and Nevada. He has worked for Northern Trust since 1996.

Dewain Hill will assume expanded responsibility for Northern Trust's banking and lending operations in Texas, Arizona and Colorado as the new Southwest region chief credit and banking officer.

Additionally, the company announced last week that Cliff Demarest was named managing director of wealth advisory services in Dallas.

Northern Trust, which announced both promotions Thursday, had $3.2 trillion of assets under custody and $558.9 billion of assets under management at June 30.
