Wells Fargo & Co. has opened a private banking office in Oklahoma City.
The office, which opened Monday, is the first for Wells Fargo Private Bank in Oklahoma.
Wells Fargo announced that it has hired James C. "Jay" Quillian to run the office. He was named a senior private banker.
The San Francisco company has a regional commercial banking office that is in Oklahoma City. The private bank will be run from the same office in Leadership Square in downtown Oklahoma City.
Wells Fargo Private Bank provides high-net-worth individuals a range of private banking and wealth management services.
Mr. Quillian has worked in the banking and real estate industries for 35 years. He was a senior vice president of private financial services and vice president of commercial real estate for Bank of Oklahoma. Before than he had been a senior vice president of RAM Management Associates.
Wells Fargo Private Bank has 60 offices nationally. It is a division of Wells Fargo Wealth Management Group, which had more than $256 billion in assets under management as of March 31.
