Pentucket Bank in Mass. Gives CEO Additional Title of Chairman

Pentucket Bank in Haverhill, Mass., has given its chief executive the additional title of chairman.

The $641 million-asset mutual thrift promoted Scott Cote to chairman, according to a Friday news release. Cote succeeds Kendall Smith as chairman; Smith will remain a member of Pentucket's board of trustees.

Pentucket also gave its chief credit officer, Chuck Walker, the additional title of president.

Cote joined Pentucket in 1998 and has been CEO since 2010. Walker has been chief credit officer since 2010.
