Genworth Financial Inc. of Richmond, Va., announced that PNC Institutional Investments, a unit of Pittsburgh's PNC Financial Services Group Inc. has added Genworth's ClearCourse as an option on the 401(k) platform that PNC offers corporate customers.

PNC's Vested Interest platform acts as a 401(k) provider for about 500 defined contribution plans that have assets of more than $7 billion and 180,000 participants who work for small, midsize, and large companies.
ClearCourse is a 401(k) investment option that offers participants an income-for-life guarantee through Genworth Life and Annuity Insurance Co. Genworth announced the agreement Monday.
