Charles P. Nelson has been promoted to president of Great-West Retirement Services.

Mr. Nelson was a senior vice president at the Greenwood Village, Colo., unit of Power Financial Corp. where he has worked since 1983, the company said on Friday.
Great-West Retirement Services is the fourth-largest retirement plan record keeper based on total participants at Dec. 31, according to a ranking by Spectrem Group in Chicago.
In all, Great-West Retirement Services provided 401(k), 401(a), 403(b), and 457 retirement plan services to about 20,000 plans with nearly 3.9 million participants and more than $116 billion of assets at March 31.
