PrivateBank, a unit of PrivateBancorp Inc., said Friday that it had opened commercial banking business development offices in Denver and Des Moines and hired two executives for each from LaSalle Bank.
Darren L. Lemkau and Nate Palmer joined PrivateBank's Denver office, it said, Mr. Lemkau as managing director and head of the office and Mr. Palmer as an associate managing director. Both previously worked in the Denver office of LaSalle Bank, which Bank of America recently bought.
Two bankers from LaSalle Bank's Des Moines regional office, Donald J. Coffin and Kimberly A. Butler, joined PrivateBank's new office there. Mr. Coffin was named managing director and head of the office, and Ms. Butler was named a managing director.
PrivateBancorp had $5 billion of assets at Dec. 31 and has 22 offices, including sites in the Atlanta, Chicago, Cleveland, Denver, Des Moines, Detroit, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, St. Louis, and Kansas City metropolitan areas.
