Promotions At USB Holding For Sabatini, Picarelli, Crotty

USB Holding Co., Orangeburg, N.Y., has promoted executive vice presidents Steven T. Sabatini, Robert F. Picarelli, and Raymond J. Crotty to senior executive vice president.

Mr. Sabatini is chief financial officer, Mr. Picarelli senior operations officer, and Mr. Crotty chief credit officer of the $958 million-asset company and its Union State Bank.

Mr. Sabatini joined the bank as assistant to the chairman in 1994 and became chief financial officer the following year. Mr. Picarelli joined Union State in 1984 as vice president, operations officer. Mr. Crotty was hired in 1983 as vice president and branch manager and was later senior loan officer.

James A. Martin, Union State Bank's deputy chief credit officer, was promoted to executive vice president from senior vice president. He manages the bank's Westchester County lending activities. Mr. Martin was hired in March 1992 as vice president and senior commercial loan officer.

Additionally, Union State Bank hired William M. Mooney as executive vice president of business development and government relations. His job will be to help the bank expand in Westchester County.

Mr. Mooney was the chief executive officer at Hudson Valley Bank in Yonkers, N.Y. Before that he was a senior vice president at Chase Manhattan Bank and earlier with Chemical Bank, where he oversaw branches in Rockland, Westchester, and the Bronx. He also ran their activties in lending to small and midsize businesses.
