Quaint Oak in Pa. Buys Insurance Portfolio

Quaint Oak Bancorp in Southampton, Pa., has bought the rights to a portfolio of personal and commercial insurance policies.

The $202 million-asset company said in a press release Monday that its insurance agency bought the book of business, location and staff of Signature Insurance Services in New Britain, Pa. Quaint Oak did not disclose the price.

"Signature has amassed an impressive reputation in the region and among its customer base," Robert Strong, Quaint Oak’s president and chief executive, said in the release.
