Regulation CC - [12 CFR 229 - Availability of Funds and Collection of Checks] - specifies when a bank must make available to its customer funds from items deposited into the customers transaction account. Provides requirements for disclosure of the bank's funds availability policies to its customers. Establishes rules designed to speed the collection and return of checks and imposes a responsibility on banks to return unpaid checks expeditiously.
