San Antonio National Bank has agreed to acquire Bank of Texas Bancshares Inc. in Devine.
The deal was announced Tuesday and was reported in Wednesday’s San Antonio Express News. The price was not disclosed.
The $64 million-asset Bank of Texas has two branches, one in San Antonio and one in Devine.
The $214 million-asset San Antonio National, a unit of Family Bancorp Inc., has 10 branches and plans to add 13 more in San Antonio, the Rio Grande Valley, Laredo, and Houston.
Family Bancorp is led by Kenneth Koncaba, a former president and chief operating officer of FC Holdings Inc. in Houston. Mr. Koncaba left FC Holdings in 2006 to start his own company.
