Charles Schwab Corp. began offering a program fee rebate on its managed mutual fund portfolios, Schwab Managed Portfolios, to investors who put $25,000 or more of assets into a new or existing retirement account.
The rebate applies to all individual retirement accounts: traditional IRAs, Roth IRAs, self-employed retirement plan IRAs, and rollover accounts.
With the rebate, clients receive money management with no program fees for the first year, Schwab said last week.
Those who deposit at least $25,000 in an IRA before the end of August and who are enrolled in Schwab Managed Portfolios will automatically receive quarterly program fee rebates.
