Security First in California Names New President

Security First Bank in Fresno, Calif., has a new president.

The $104 million-asset bank has promoted Steven Jones to the role. Jones, who had been Security First's chief financial officer, succeeded Robert Hemsath, who will remain chief executive.

Jones has more than 20 years of banking experience handling lending and operations, along with mergers and acquisitions. He is also a certified public accountant.

Jones was chief financial officer of The Grange Bank in Columbus, Ohio, from March 2002 to 2007, and senior finance manager at Bank One in Columbus from April 1996 to March 2002. He was also finance manager of First Interstate Bank in Phoenix from July 1993 to April 1996.
