State Street in Deutsche Deal

State Street Corp. announced that it has expanded its investment servicing capabilities for the Swiss market with the purchase of Deutsche Bank's fund accounting operations.

The Boston banking company is offering accounting services for Swiss-domiciled funds, it said Wednesday.

As a result of the deal, State Street does accounting for 16 funds. The U.S. bank entered Switzerland with a Zurich office opened in 1998.
