State Street Corp. of Boston named Maureen Miskovic its chief risk officer.
Ms. Miskovic, who stepped down from a State Street board seat she had held since 2006 to take her new job, will lead 250 enterprise risk professionals. She will report to Ronald E. Logue, State Street's chairman and CEO, and join the operating group.
Ms. Miskovic was a senior adviser at Eurasia Group, a research and consulting firm focused on political risk analysis. Previously she was the chief risk officer for Lehman Brothers.
State Street had $15.3 trillion of assets under custody and $2 trillion under management at the end of 2007.
