State Street Corp. on Monday named Maureen Miskovic, who has been a member of its board of directors since 2006, the chief risk officer.
Ms. Miskovic is to lead a team of more than 250 multidisciplinary enterprise-risk professionals. She reports to Ronald E. Logue, State Street's chairman and CEO, and it to join the company's operating group.
She stepped down from the board of directors on Monday to assume the newly created post.
Most recently, she was a senior adviser at Eurasia Group, a research and consulting firm focused on political risk analysis and industry research for global markets.
Previously, she was the chief risk officer at Lehman Brothers.
State Street, which is based in Boston, had $15.3 trillion of assets under custody and $2 trillion under management at Dec. 31.
