SunTrust Banks Inc. on Tuesday named Kevin S. Blair head of its Georgia region. He succeeds William B. Haile, who announced plans to retire at the end of April.
Blair will be based in Savannah, Ga., and will report to E. Jenner Wood 3rd, SunTrust's Atlanta/Georgia division chairman, president and chief executive. He will oversee the region that encompasses six local banking units in the state. Most recently, Blair was SunTrust's geographic banking administration officer. He is a 13-year veteran of the company.
