Pegasystems Inc. said it has appointed Dean Webster director of global services, concentrating on worldwide customer service.

"With Pegasystems' international presence, it is critical that our customers, who operate on a global basis, enjoy the highest levels of service," said Alan Trefler, president and chief executive officer.

"Mr. Webster will work to ensure consistent account management across customer implementation sites in multiple countries, regions, and companies."

Mr. Webster brings to Pegasystems, a specialist in customer service software for financial institutions, more than 20 years of field operations experience in the U.S. and European software industry. He has worked with major banking, insurance, manufacturing, and service organizations.
