Credit Unions Re-Up with Digital Insight

Two credit unions have renewed and expanded their online banking software contracts with Digital Insight Corp.

The Calabasas, Calif., vendor said Wednesday that Government Employees Credit Union of El Paso and TruWest Credit Union of Tempe, Ariz., have agreed to use its consumer online banking and bill-payment software through 2011.

GECU has also asked Digital Insight to redesign its Web site to make it easier to use, and to include online check imaging and electronic statements, better site management capabilities, and customer service features such as chat sessions and co-browsing.

TruWest has agreed to use Digital Insight's marketing and cross-selling tools, Promotion Manager and Survey Manager. It already offers check imaging and online statements.

Vsoft Corp. Signs Oregon Credit Union

Northwest Corporate Federal Credit Union of Portland, Ore., has agreed to offer check imaging software from Vsoft Corp. to its customers.

The Atlanta banking technology vendor said Tuesday that Northwest Corporate will use its eDesk Branch Item Capture software, which will enable its customers to convert checks into images and transmit them to Northwest Corporate for processing.

Northwest Corporate will also use Vsoft's Genesis software to route the files to image exchange networks for clearing on behalf of its customers. It will be able to process exception items with Vsoft's Returns and Adjustments software. The corporate credit union provides banking services, including item processing, to more than 200 credit unions in the Northwest.

Murthy Veeraghanta, Vsoft's president, said in a press release, "The array of Vsoft solutions Northwest Corporate has chosen to implement will allow them to offer their members a complete imaging solution."
