PartnersFirst Affinity Services a Columbus, Ga., unit of Torrey Pines Bank of San Diego, has agreed to use Total System Services Inc. to process transactions for its consumer credit card portfolio.
TSYS, also of Columbus, said Thursday that it will also be responsible for PartnersFirst's online card applications, statement production, and other cards services.
PartnersFirst provides credit card services for small and midsize affinity groups. Torrey Pines Bank is a unit of Western Alliance Bancorp of Las Vegas.
M. Troy Woods, TSYS' president and chief operating officer, said in a press release, "Because of the ever-increasing popularity of affinity groups with many different interests, we feel this model is one that will benefit PartnersFirst and TSYS for years to come."
