Two River Community Bank (TRCB) in Tinton Falls, N.J., has hired Anthony Mero as its chief operating officer.
Mero started his new job on Monday, Two River said in a press release Thursday. He joins the $736 million-asset bank after serving as chief operating officer at Financial Resources Federal Credit Union in Bridgewater, N.J. Mero has also worked at United Jersey Bank, Summit Bank and Fleet Bank.
"I am pleased to welcome [Mero] and look forward to his contributions as part of our management team," William Moss, Two River's president and chief executive, said in a press release.
Two River's former COO, Robert Werner, resigned earlier this year, Moss said. Werner became president and chief executive of Sb1 Federal Credit Union in Philadelphia in June, according to his LinkedIn page.
