UBS' global asset management division has announced the hiring of Marcel Larochelle to head its Canadian business.

Mr. Larochelle is to start in his new post July 14, the company said on Monday. From a Toronto base, he is to focus on developing and expanding the division's institutional, wholesale, and consultant relationships.
He is a chartered financial analyst who has held senior executive posts at companies including Mercer Investments, Towers Perrin, and Buck Consultants.
