UBS Wealth Unit Hires Two More Brokers

UBS' Americas wealth management division continued its hiring spree, adding million-dollar producers in New York and Houston.

Tom Jenkins joined the Houston office from Merrill Lynch. He oversaw $450 million of assets under management and generated $2.2 million in fees and commissions.

Jack Schecter joined the New York City office from Morgan Stanley Smith Barney. He managed $430 million in client assets and generated $1.9 million in trailing 12-month production.

The hirings came on the heels of UBS' naming Todd Locicero manager of its Los Angeles private wealth management office. Locicero had spent eight years at Morgan Stanley, most recently as its private wealth management regional manager for Southern California, Arizona and Las Vegas. Locicero also has been a successful financial adviser and branch manager, UBS said.
