USAA Federal Savings Bank is giving its members in the Washington, D.C., area more access to surcharge-free ATMs through a new partnership with Cardtronics Inc.

The agreement, announced on Monday, calls for Cardtronics to co-brand 189 ATMs with USAA logos, according to a joint press release from the companies. The machines are located at CVS Caremark locations.
USAA already had an agreement with Cardtronics' Allpoint surcharge-free ATM network.
The San Antonio, Texas, banking company's expanded ATM presence complements the institution's recent efforts to establish what it calls USAA Financial Centers, a representative said.
