Van Kampen Unveils Fund Family

Van Kampen Funds Inc. of Chicago, a unit of Van Kampen Investments Inc., has unveiled six equity mutual funds that will be subadvised by O'Shaughnessy Asset Management.

Van Kampen filed a registration statement Tuesday with the Securities and Exchange Commission to launch the Van Kampen O'Shaughnessy Global Fund, the Van Kampen O'Shaughnessy International Fund, the Van Kampen O'Shaughnessy Large Cap Growth Fund, the Van Kampen O'Shaughnessy Small/Mid Cap Growth Fund, the Van Kampen O'Shaughnessy All Cap Core Fund, and the Van Kampen O'Shaughnessy Enhanced Dividend Fund.

In November the company rolled out the Van Kampen Retirement Strategy Funds, a set of target-date funds.

Van Kampen Investments had $84 billion of assets under management or supervision as of Nov. 30.

O'Shaughnessy, of Stamford, Conn., had $5 billion under management as of Dec. 31.
