HSA Bank, a division of Webster Financial Corp., has announced that it is the first health savings account administrator to surpass $500 million in HSA deposits.

HSA Bank, which is based in Waterbury, Conn., has been ranked as the nation's leading HSA administrator in terms of deposits by Inside Consumer-Directed Care since it began reporting data in 2005.
The Webster division, which announced the milestone on Wednesday, has customers in every state and has more than 10 years of experience with health-care savings accounts.
Webster is the holding company for Webster Bank and Webster Insurance. It sells business and consumer banking services, including mortgages, insurance, financial planning, trust and investments through 181 banking offices.
