Wells Fargo Insurance Services Inc. hired Clay D.W. Stafford as an account executive in its broker-dealer unit, ABD Financial Services Inc.
He will oversee all aspects of retirement plan customer service and help develop new business. He will be based in Redwood City, Calif., and will report to Chris Call, the president of ABD Financial Services. He has worked in retirement planning for 11 years.
Wells Fargo Insurance Services. which announced the hiring last week, is the fifth-largest insurance brokerage and the largest bank-owned one in the United States, with more than 171 offices in 37 states.
