ABD Insurance and Financial Services, a Redwood City, Calif., unit of Wells Fargo Insurance Services Inc., has announced the hiring of Janine McCaffery as a sales executive in its construction and real estate insurance brokerage practice.
Ms. McCaffery is to work with property owners, developers, home builders, and others in the real estate and construction industries, the company said on Tuesday, reporting to Brian McDonnell, a senior vice president and practice leader at ABD.
Ms. McCaffery was a national commercial sales representative at First American Title. She has worked in title insurance for 27 years.
Wells Fargo Insurance Services, which is based in Chicago, is the fifth-largest insurance brokerage and the largest bank-owned insurance broker in the United States. It has 171 offices in 37 states, and its 7,200 insurance professionals place more than $11.5 billion of risk premiums annually.
