WisdomTree Switches Auditors

WisdomTree Investments Inc., a New York exchange-traded fund provider, has retained Ernst & Young LLP to be its independent registered public accounting firm and dismissed Marcum & Kliegman LLP.

The decision, announced Monday, was made by the audit committee of WisdomTree's board of directors. The company did not disclose its reasoning for the change. "There were no disagreements with Marcum & Kliegman on any matter of accounting principles or practices, financial statement disclosure, or auditing scope," it said in a press release.

WisdomTree had $3.6 billion of assets under management in its exchange-traded funds at Dec. 31.
