WSFS names new auditor and deputy chief risk officer

WSFS Financial in Wilmington, Del., announced Thursday that it promoted Christine Davis to chief auditor.

The previous chief auditor, James Lucianetti, also got promoted, to deputy chief risk officer.

Lucianetti’s new role had belonged to Paul Greenplate, who was recently promoted to chief risk officer.

Greenplate said in a press release that the moves are all part of succession planning at the $7 billion-asset company and designed to support its growth.

In her new role, Davis will direct and implement a comprehensive internal audit program across WSFS, including its subsidiaries. She also will assume a lead management role for the audit committee of the board of directors. She has been with the company for 18 years, most recently serving as deputy chief auditor.

Lucianetti, a 30-year veteran of WSFS, will be the lead liaison with regulatory agencies and continue to manage exams.

He also will play a critical role in third-party relationship reviews for new products and services.
