XL Insurance, the global insurance arm of XL Capital Ltd., has promoted Mike Martin to chief property underwriter for the Americas.
He had been XL Insurance's property underwriting manager for the Southeast region of the United States and for Latin America. He has worked for the New York company since 2001.
XL Insurance is the global brand used by member insurers of the XL Capital group of companies. XL Capital provides insurance and reinsurance to industrial, commercial, and professional services firms, among others.
