Ritz Interactive Inc., a network of electronic-commerce Web sites, today announced that Acculynk Inc.’s PaySecure Internet-PIN debit product is available as a payment option across 16 sites, including RitzCamera.com, WolfCamera.com and BoatersWorld.com.
With the agreement, Acculynk now has 11 “unique” merchants accepting PaySecure, according to Danielle Duclos, the company’s director of marketing. “Under those merchants, we have 2,000 unique storefronts,” she adds.
Acculynk expects to add a third airline this month, Duclos says. AirTran Airways already accepts PaySecure as payment, and Spirit Airlines Inc. plans to add PaySecure some time this year.
Acculynk enables consumers to use PIN-debit cards to make purchases online by integrating its PaySecure software into a merchant’s online-checkout system. Cardholders use their computer’s mouse to enter their four-digit PINs into an Acculynk virtual PIN pad that appears on the computer’s monitor.
