ACI Worldwide has added three board members with pervasive experience in financial services, following the retirement of other board members.
The new appointments include: Charles Peters, Jr., who currently works as the executive vice president and chief financial officer at Red Hat, a global provider of open-source software for enterprises; Thomas Warsop, who is the president and CEO of The Warranty Group Inc., an insurance provider; and Adalio Sanchez, who most recently served as the senior vice president at the Lenovo Group Ltd., the PC technology company.
The three take over for John Stokely, John Curtis and Harlan Seymour.
"Charlie, Adalio and Tom are tremendous additions to the ACI board, bringing extensive track records of leadership success," said Philip Heasley, president and CEO of ACI Worldwide, in a July 8 press release. "While we appreciate the work of their predecessors...Charlie, Tom and Adalio possess decades of industry experience that will help us to further strengthen our market-leading Universal Payments family of solutions now and well into the future."
Before Lenovo, Sanchez spent nearly 30 years at IBM, with 16 years spent in senior executive and global general management roles.
Prior to The Warranty Group, Warsop held several positions at financial services technology provider Fiserv and spent time at Electronic Data Systems.
ACI Worldwide provides technology for more than 5,600 financial institutions, payment processors, billers and retailers around the world.
