The move hinges on the approval of New Albany's city council, which is set to vote on the incentive deal on Tuesday, according to Columbus' Business First.

In late 2011, the Ohio Tax Credit Authority approved state tax credits for iQor when it considered the call center expansion for a location in Hilliard, Ohio. A deal for vacant space in that city was never signed by the prospective landlord.

Jennifer Chrysler, New Albany’s director of community development, said its proposed five-year deal will return an amount equal to 10 percent of the income taxes generated by the jobs above and beyond the existing regional payroll back to the company. She expects iQor to move to New Albany early near year, pending council’s approval.
