Allpoint Surcharge-Free Network Signs Up Gorham Savings Bank

Gorham, Maine-based Gorham SavingsBank has joined Allpoint Network, the nation's largest surcharge-free ATM network,both companies announced Thursday. Allpoint, which is based in Bethesda, Md.,operates 2,400 ATMs in New England and 35,000 nationwide, says Ben Psillas, Allpoint founder and president. When a financial institution, such as Gorham Savings Bank, joins Allpoint, their cardholders' cards join, not the financial institution's ATMs, Psillas says. Gorham Savings serves 23,000 customers.
