Heartland Payment Systems Inc. has added advance-transaction analysis and reporting tools from MicroStrategy Inc. to its merchant reporting services, Heartland says. ... Merchant Data Systems Inc., a merchant-service provider, is offering payment-compliance and security products from ControlScan Inc. to it merchants. ... Ezic Inc., an online payment-gateway company, says its recurring billing system now includes a "stepdown rebilling" feature that enables merchants to automatically retry a declined recurring billing transaction for a discounted amount.
