Cardtronics USA Inc. announced Wednesday it has signed a long-term managed-services contract with Pacific Convenience & Fuels LLC, Cardtronics third such deal in less than a month.
Cardtronics USA, a subsidiary of Houston-based Cardtronics Inc., is providing ATM processing and monitoring for 225 Pacific Convenience & Fuels store locations in California, Colorado, Oregon, Nevada, Texas and Washington. Neither Cardtronics nor Pacific Convenience & Fuels disclosed contract terms.
Pacific Convenience & Fuels, based in San Ramon, Calif., operates 570 company-owned dealer and fee-operator sites on the West Coast. The company is the largest U.S.-based franchisee of Circle K, the Montreal-based convenience-store chain. Pacific Convenience is a marketer of Union 76 and ConocoPhillips gasoline brands.
The agreement enables Pacific Convenience & Fuels to focus on selling, Charlene Kovascsik, director of marketing, said in a statement. “We are able to tap into the processing, monitoring and service functions of a large ATM network, allowing us to focus on our core business while continuing to provide the ancillary services that our customers need and want,” she said.
Cardtronics began offering managed services during last year’s fourth quarter.
