CyberSource, Amadeus Partner to Detect Fraud in Travel Payments

Visa Inc.'s CyberSource will provide its fraud management services to the travel industry through a partnership with Amadeus.

The companies are integrating CyberSource's fraud management portal, called Decision Manager, with Amadeus' Payment Platform. The goal of the partnership is to help travel organizations accept more valid booking, while pinpointing possible fraudulent transactions, the companies said in a June 18 press release.

"With a track record of delivering results for major airlines, travel agencies, hotel chains and other travel suppliers, Amadeus can help provide travel companies and their customers with a fast, safe and seamless buying experience, irrespective of device or location," said Simon Stokes, head of sales for CyberSource, in the release.
