Diebold Inc. plans to provide more than 200 ATMs to Sovcombank Investment and Commercial Bank LLC, the company announced April 18.
The Russian retail bank already was a Diebold customer. Its latest purchase gives it a total of 450 of Diebold’s Opteva ATMs.
“We continue to extend our retail network and the range of services offered,” Igor Lappi, Sovcombank’s central branch manager, said in a press release.
The contract is a part of pact between Sovcombank, Diebold and the Center of Financial Technologies, a consortium of companies that develop high-tech financial sector products. Under the deal, the center is providing ATM software that will give users remote access to banking products and services.
