Zynga plans to offer the service in 18 countries across Europe, making it the first time Zynga Game Cards will be available in many of those markets, according to a press release.

The unit of Leawood, Kansas-based Euronet will direct players of such Zynga games as CityVille, FarmVille, Empires & Allies and Zynga Poker to purchase a Zynga Game Card for virtual goods within most games from one of the processor’s network of retail and kiosk locations. Available in smaller currency amounts, Zynga Game Cards provide players with an easy payment option and more choices for the amount they want to spend on virtual goods.

Epay retailers across Europe now also may offer consumers an added value with an in-store bonus of a free virtual item with game card redemption. Additionally through the partnership, retailers may offer customized marketing promotions and discounts online and in-store.

“Epay will provide us with a way to leverage their strong network of premium retailers as well as their robust payment processing infrastructure to enable more of our international players to purchase Zynga Game Cards in a convenient way,” Ryan Linton, Zynga senior director of business development, said in the release.

Epay is making Zynga Game Cards available in the United Kingdom, France, Spain, Germany, Luxembourg, Belgium, Portugal, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Greece, Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic and Croatia, according to the release.
