E-commerce payments provider Adyen has partnered with Evernote, which offers software for note-taking and archiving, to launch Alipay's mobile-optimized checkout for users in China.
Evernote users can now pay seamlessly on a mobile device using the mobile-optimized Alipay checkout, a popular online payment method in China, with hundreds of millions of users. Evernote also expects to expand its user base through the integration.
Adyen also helps Evernote process payments in more than 40 other countries. The company supports more than 250 payment methods and 187 currencies around the world.
"After Adyen optimized our implementation of Alipay's mobile checkout, our customers' mobile experience has significantly improved, and we expect to see a corresponding increase in conversions, customer satisfaction and brand affinity," said Linda Kozlowski, vice president of worldwide operations at Evernote, in a Sept. 15 press release. "Adyen continues to provide us with the most advanced payment technology, which has been instrumental in Evernotes growth internationally."
