Henry has joined the board of directors of Clayton, Mo.-based payment processor Clearent.
"Throughout my career I've been fortunate to be a part of several successful, innovative companies in the payments industry," Henry said in a July 28 press release. "I'm impressed by Clearent's unique position as an end-to-end payment processor and 100% organic growth, and am excited to help shape the company's future."

Prior to joining NetSpend, Henry co-founded Euronet Worldwide, a global processor of electronic financial transactions. When he left Euronet in 2006, the company was in excess of $600 million and operated 26 offices in 23 countries, the press release said.
Clearent celebrates its 10th anniversary this year, processing $8 billion in annual transaction volume for 25,000 businesses nationwide.
