EProcessing Network LLC says a recent update to its ePNJPOS payment software enables multiple merchants operating in a single location, such as at hair salons where each stylist has a merchant account, to process transactions using a single computer. Users sign in to the ePNJPOS software with their own user names and passwords to complete transactions, which are processed separately from other users of the software, Steve Sotis, president of Houston-based eProcessing Networks, tells CardLine sister publication ISO&Agent Weekly. Card-brand rules prohibit multiple merchants from using the same merchant account. The software works both with magnetic-stripe card readers and check readers, says Sotis, who envisions accounting and law firms, which often require separate payment for different clients, as potential buyers of this service.
