First Data Corp. announced May 9 it has named Mark Herrington executive vice president of global product management and innovation, and appointed him to the company’s executive committee.

Herrington has been leading Atlanta-based First Data’s global product management and innovation effort since early this year, when the company consolidated its product groups into one globally aligned organization, a company press release said.
"Mark is an integral part of our plans for success going forward,” Jon Judge, First Data chief executive officer, said in the release. “He brings a wealth of experience and success in product innovation in high growth, technology-focused environments to his role.”
