I.C. System's President And CEO Retires

Ken Rapp, president and CEO at I.C. System for the past 10 years, has announced his retirement.

John Erickson, previously the chief operating officer, takes over the role of president and CEO effective immediately. Erickson’s promotion had been scheduled for Jan. 1, 2011, and the transition plan was initially shared with all I.C. System employees in early 2010.

“We’re all very thankful to Ken for his exemplary leadership and many contributions,” says Barb Erickson, I.C. System’s chairman. “Ken has been instrumental to our success and invaluable during this seamless transition.”

John Erickson has held numerous management positions in his 15 years at I.C. System. As chief operating officer, he managed the Retail Markets and Healthcare divisions and two of the company’s four collection sites.

Previously he was vice president of Business Divisions and led all of the company’s strategic branding and marketing initiatives. He becomes the fifth president in I.C. System’s 72-year history. The company announced there would not be any other changes to its executive and senior management teams.

I.C. System is a privately owned company that provides accounts receivable management services for 30,000 clients within many industries, including healthcare, financial services, retail, utility and communications. Headquartered in St. Paul, Minn., I.C. System has offices in Iowa, North Dakota and Wisconsin.
