The company plans to hire 250 jobs initially and another 250 by February 2011. Several hundred job seekers reportedly attended a job fair in Evans on Tuesday morning hoping to land positions. Evans is located just south of Greeley, Colo.
Most of the positions are entry-level call representatives, starting at $9.50 an hour with incentive opportunities. Afni also will hire at least 25 front-line supervisors and positions in human resources, information technology, operations and quality control. The front-line positions will start, depending on experience, in the low $30,000 range.
The space Afni is renting includes a 40,996-square-foot call center and 10,581 square feet of training space.
