SparkBase Adding Facebook, Twitter, FourSquare Integration
SparkBase, a Cleveland, Ohio-based the private-label prepaid card processor, says it has integrated its gift, loyalty and reward network into such social networking sites as Facebook, Twitter and FourSquare.
In their accounts, cardholders may select which social networking sites they use. They then can post their rewards to these sites and earn additional rewards specific to each site, SparkBase says.
For example, a cardholder spending $20 at a merchant would receive 25 loyalty points if that card is connected to the user’s Twitter account, the company says.
SparkBase expects the sites to certify the social networking component in coming weeks. The service will be available for all of the company’s approximately 80 ISO resellers in September, SparkBase CEO Douglas Hardman tells ISO&Agent Weekly.
SparkBase processes about 12 million transactions annually for about 40,000 merchants.
