The company now accepts the local currencies of the U.S., U.K., Poland, Switzerland, Sweden, Denmark and Norway. Canada and Australia's local currencies will also be accepted soon. Before the update, Mangopay accepted only the euro.

"I'm proud to announce that Mangopay is now compatible with a wide range of currencies," says Celine Lazorthes, CEO of MangoPay and Leetchi.com. "This was an essential requirement for many of our international clients which we needed to meet."

Mangopay, which is run by European online payment provider Leetchi Group, launched 10 months ago and has more than 150 clients in Europe. Mangopay allows clients to accept third-party payments, split funds and collect fees and manage or create e-wallets.

Other functions added to the system include open source development kits and in-app payment using card tokenization.
