MasterCard has raised two executives within its Asian operations, following a change to its approach to operating in the region.
Porush Singh is now president of the card giant's South Asian division after most recently serving as the company's group head of core products, global products & solutions for the Asia Pacific region. Singh started his career ten years ago in Dubai before joining the card company's Singapore office in 2010. Singh's new position takes him to Delhi, where he succeeds Ari Sarker, recently promoted to co-president of the SEASA division.
Julienne Loh, formerly the group head in charge of strategic development and execution for consumer credit in the Asia Pacific division, takes over Singh's previous role and will continue to be based in Singapore. Loh has been with the company since 2005 and will oversee consumer and commercial payment services in MasterCard's Asia Pacific region.
